Anytime Le Chateau has its professional apparel discounted, I take a close look and see if there are some pieces that might feel at home in my wardrobe. Their clothes are chic and typically comfortable, but I cannot often bring myself to pay full price for them. Le Chateau Suits are currently on sale! In my experience, they also last a good long time, thankfully. This quick post is just about a sale they are currently having and two of the pieces I picked up that you might be interested in checking out. These pieces are going to get a lot of wear from me. That is one certainty.  Generally, the sale I am referring to is the one on their website where suits are 50% off right now. They have a lot of options if you are in the market for some new pieces.

Le Chateau Suits: Pastel Blue

Specifically, I am talking about a pastel-blue wool blend suit set that was made in Canada and will be perfect heading into Autumn. I already purchased the trousers and blazer. I love them so much that I am also about to purchase the matching skirt. While I don’t often wear a full matching suit, I do love having the option for when special occasions arise, and this set is versatile. If you purchase the matching blazer and bottoms, you can always wear them separately with other pieces. If you want to look ultra-together, however, you can obviously just throw the blazer on with your bottoms and you are good to go.

Le Chateau Suits: The fabric

One of the best things about this set is the fabric. It is made of 51% viscose, 47% virgin wool, and 2% lycra. It is very comfortable, and not itchy, though I am aware of the wool when wearing the pieces. Typically, virgin wool is some of the softest you can get. Personally, I love wool products and have huge respect for them after growing up with lambs on the farm. Another great thing about this set is that it is made in Canada. Not to mention, the button details on the front and the culotte style trousers. The pencil skirt also has a tie detail around the waist, to give it a unique style.

Le Chateau Suits: Cost

The trousers are currently on sale for $39.97 CAD, down from $79.95 CAD. The skirt is on for $34.97 CAD, down from $69.95CAD. The blazer is the most expensive piece, on sale for $84.97 CAD. The original price is $169.97 CAD.  Rather than spending $209 CAD on the full suit, you can pick it up for just over $100.

If you are looking for something new to wear to the office, or perhaps a fancy suit for a wedding, this is one you might want to seriously consider. Plus with all the pieces being half-price right now, it feels like a steal!

The mules in the photos are from Call it Spring and lately, they have been my go-to shoe as I run out of the house since they are so comfortable, easy to slip on and add interest to any outfit. The t-shirt is an old oversized one from Dynamite. I love the floral print on it and since it is slouchy on me, it is great to tuck into jeans or trousers on a more casual day.
